Accessing Universal from a network share

To run Universal.NET from a network share each computer must have some settings changed. For this to be achieved you must have the .NET Framework 2.0 SDK installed. This can be downloaded from the following link .NET Framework 2.0 SDK
The .NET Framework Intranet trust level must be set to full trust. To do this follow the steps below.

To access the .NET Framework Configuration go to Control Panel and select "Administrative Tools". Then double click on "Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 Configuration". The screen below should then appear.

| Adjusting Security |

Expand the MyComputer menu, right click on "Runtime Security Policy" and select "Adjust Security...". This will open the Security Adjustment Wizard.

To make changes for the computer click on next, to make changes for the current user only select the "Make changes for the current user only" radio button and click next.

Click on Local Intranet and set the level of trust to Full Trust. Click next, then click finish. This will now allow the Universal to be run from a network share.
