Shown below are the minimum requirements to run Universal Office:

Server Software Windows 8, Windows 7, Vista (SP1), XP, 2003, 2008 operating systems(32/64 bit compatible)
Word 2000, 2003, 2007 or Word XP required for printing
Please note that if you intend to network the software, the operating system on the server should be the same version or newer than the clients.
Client Software Windows 8, Windows 7, Vista, XP, 2003 operating systems. Word 2000, 2003, 2007, 2010 or Word XP needed for printing.
Hardware 1 GHz processor, 512Mb of RAM and 1024X768 screen resolution
Internet Internet access is required for web site updating and emailing.
  • If you are currently using Housescape Universal you need to be on build 125 or newer to upgrade.

In Universal.NET go to the Help menu and select contents to access the online manual. Alternatively press the F1 key at any time when using the software to open the manual at the relevant page.
