Energy Performance Certificate (EPCs)Energy Performance Certificate's have become a mandatory requirement in England and Wales, and needs to be displayed when advertising a property to buy or rent.
As a result of this legislation there have been changes made to Universal which make it simple to comply. On the EPCs tab of the property record in Universal, simply attach a PDF of the EPC.
Once attached the first page of the EPC document can then be generated in a brochure or window card via a mail merge tag. The tag you need to add into your word template is #epcpdf-500# (You can alter the size of the number to effect the size of the EPC). Please contact the help desk if you need assistance with this.
The full PDF of the EPC will be automatically uploaded to your website property search the next time you Synchronise to the Internet.
The a link to the PDF will also be sent electronically to any property portals we send your data to.
